The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is probably one of the most popular executive sports sedans in the world. Joining the recently refreshed sedan, Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new and refreshed 2021 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models. Honestly, the E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are both the most beautiful models in their segment.
Beyond the visual updates, the E450 model now uses an inline-6 engine instead of a V6. It still produces 362-hp but it should deliver a smoother power delivery along with better fuel economy.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG 53 Coupe and Cabriolet is still the best looking of the bunch and still make 429-hp. The Coupe will do 0-60 in 4.3 secs and the Cabriolet will do it in 4.5. The E53 duo will also get Dynamic Plus Package, which marks the first time AMG will be offering the package on a model with 6-cylinders. Unfortunately, that could mean that the E63 S designation will be reserved for the sedan exclusively.
The new E-Class, also debuts Mercedes-Benz’s new steering wheel design with some new tech and convenience. The AMG Performance version of the steering wheel gets a flat-bottom design and damn it looks nice!
The full E-Class lineup also gets smarter when it comes to driver-assist tech. For example, the E-Class can now automatically park itself in any parking space out garage without adjacent vehicles being present.
The refreshed 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will go on sale in the U.S. by late 2020. Prices will be announced closer to the launch date.
